ARTIST RESIDENCES
2018 – 2019
The project “Video Arts and Digital Residence in Schools” aims to get young people to question their relationship to the world by putting the meaningful artistic proposals into perspective with contemporary issues. Drawing on his creative approach and the practice workshops that he / she animates in school or extracurricular time, the artist in residence makes young people aware of the artistic fact and its extensions. In parallel with this artistic education approach, the artist carries out a creative process of his own, without obligation of result.
The Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Culture attach particular importance to raising the awareness of young people to video art and digital arts, notably by supporting projects based on the meeting of schools with artists, installed in residency, working in the field of video and digital arts.
