Philippe Fontes : video device
Lives and works in Saint-Etienne.
This self-taught photographer has been using video since the late 90s. At that time, his taste for improvised music led him to collaborate with various musicians and composers. In 2004 he co-founded the collective PLUSMOINS in which he still works today.

Jérôme Montagne : looped mixing desk
Born in Clermont-Ferrand in 1978, Jérôme Montagne studied electroacoustic music and graphic arts. He currently practices black and white photography and cyanotype.
He is co-founder of the label PLUSMOINS in St Etienne in which he intervenes as a musician and videographer in partnership with Philippe Fontes, as a musician in solo performances, and on the communication-webmastering aspect of the structure.

Jérôme uses as his only instrument a mixing desk looped on itself. Frequencies, white noises and binary rhythms are inscribed in an improvised abstract form, the machine reveals its secret noises in a sound climate of tension, electricity and silence(s).
