Since 1984, VIDEOFORMES has been a permanent observatory of developments in contemporary hybrid and digital arts, offering artists, professionals and the public a wide range of opportunities for presentation, production, encounters and reflection.
VIDEOFORMES has been an artistic production and distribution structure for video and digital art since 1984, and organizes an annual eponymous international festival in Clermont-Ferrand, showcasing the latest in digital creation: installations, videos, performances, multidisciplinary digital creations, and round-table discussions on themes relating to the creative industries and societal developments linked to digital technology.
Each year, VIDEOFORMES welcomes artists in residence, participates in national and international cultural events, and offers a program of multidisciplinary experimental performances (vidéobars), a digital magazine (Turbulences Vidéo), and artistic and cultural education initiatives.
