Air Food Company and Dersu&Uzala

On May 17, VIDEOFORMES presents an experimental performance between the choreographic work of Sidi Graoui, in improvisation, and the images of Anne-Sophie Emard and Pierre Levchin, all to the music of Julia Wolfe whose title is “Fuel”.

Dance: Marion Arnoux, Marielle Brun, Isabelle Franques, Céline Marchand, Annabelle Regnaut-Milazzo.

Images inspired by the Aït Khebbach carpets, made by an unknown Berber tribe, from the collections of the Bargoin Museum.

Duration of the performance: 20 minutes.

A graduate of the National School of Music and Dance in La Rochelle, then trained at the National Choreographic Center of Montpellier, Sidi Graoui has been a performer with several renowned companies, including the Heddy Maalem company. He was a permanent dancer at the National Choreographic Center (CCN) of Aix-en-Provence directed by Angelin Preljocaj. A state graduate in contemporary dance, he created Air Food Company in 2005. Based in Clermont-Ferrand since 2006, he explores the relationship between contemporary dance and other artistic expressions: theater, art, plastic arts, music…

Dersu & Uzala is a pair of artists, Anne-Sophie Emard and Pierre Levchin, dedicated to scenic devices of image and light. Photographers, videographers, light and sound designers, visual artists, and multi-talented stage managers, they create an intuitive scenography through: an architecture, a video universe, a sound landscape, and interactive art.
