“The Wall – Portrait of a memory”
“Project on a surface of drawings executed quickly. Two figures come to life on a large hanging canvas and an already painted wall.”
“A jig played on the violin “The Walls of Liscarroll”, which would be a priori the heritage of the battle of Liscarrol (rebel county of Cork in Ireland, XVIIth century) a fortress in ruins today whose melody would translate a likely portrait. The installation questions the notion of trace and memory of a wall, of a canvas, the traditional supports of the picture book thus revisited. “- Christelle Guillet
