VIDEOFORMES @ LES ARTS EN BALADE
From May 23 to 31, 2025, as part of the Arts en Balade program, Oleksandr Stoianov will take over Clermont-Ferrand’s Chapelle de l’Oratoire.
On this occasion, his work “They saw Stalin”, will be presented. Immersive installation based on the film “They Saw Stalin”.
Composed of archival footage of a performance by Joseph Stalin at Moscow’s Grand Theater in 1937, during the Great Terror. His installation questions the role of the spectators present: do audiences applaud what they see and hear, or is this the role of spectators in a theater?
