VIDEOBAR #33 : Nelly Girardeau
Within living memory & Derivative vector
01/03/14 – 18h30 – Free entrance
Le Chapelier Toqué, 2 Place Saint-Pierre – Clermont-Ferrand

The artist Nelly Girardeau presents two of her videos: Within living memory and Vecteur dérivé. At the border of documentary cinema and video art, her work tirelessly translates the singular experience of a relationship to the world; elusive, moving, always reformulated.

Within living memory
The walls of a cave, the shadow of a face, a forest, images appear and get lost.
Reverie inspired by a sentence of Francis Bacon: “The light shines only in the presence of darkness”.
