VAISSEAUX” proposes a poetic space in the heart of the movement through a dynamic relationship between image, music and voice, the latter being the vectors of a journey at the same time interior, geographical and sidereal.
All the images are reversed in the editing process, thus disturbing the way we look at what surrounds us. They are worked like sound composition: repetition of a motif, developments, breaks and continuity, variations, stretching, nuances. They are treated as a musical element, the dynamic montage dialoguing with the music in a contrapuntal or linear way.
From a device mixing analogical synthesizers, filters and computers, the music is interpreted live. It oscillates between electronic and electroacoustic music. Sounds from different sources will be processed and mixed with analog sounds.
Vaisseaux proposes a back and forth between what moves within us and what transports us beyond, questioning the way we look at what surrounds us, and the way we place ourselves in our physical and intimate geographies.
