The man who dances on the superb rock

The artist invites us to plunge several millennia back in time, at the time of cave art. Appropriating this artistic period, Christophe Tarrerias revisits it through contemporary gestures and objects, echoing contemporary dance, installation and drawing. Indeed, it will be a question of temporal and aesthetic ruptures, between the body at work and the projected images. Darting in a choreography, he will try to inscribe his print on the rock wall presented in video format. This performance wants to be a highlight, not on the graffiti left by the ancient men, but of a gesture revisited by the artist.

Né en 1982, Christophe Tarrerias vit et travaille à Clermont-Ferrand.

“It is in 2011, following a visit to a graphic art exhibition, that I decided to resume my drawing practice. This practice allowed me to accompany my spiritual path. For a few years, I have developed an intimate and personal practice. The encounter, very recently, with contemporary dance has allowed me to reconnect with performance and video, where I feel an ultimate pleasure in dealing with drawing and more generally with the creative process. “- Christophe Tarrerias.
