From September 22, 2025, to March 20, 2026, VIDEOFORMES presents Guillaumit's Eau Vive at the University of Science and Technology in Mulhouse.
The Faculty of Technical Sciences (FST) has selected Guillaumit’s Eau Vive, along with five other augmented reality works, which will be on display from September to March and accessible free of charge to visitors to the Mulhouse and Colmar campuses.
Eau Vive is a large fresco that can be played with using augmented reality. It pays tribute to the element of water, which, as it flows, soothes and nourishes life. Created during a creative residency in Châtel-Guyon, it showcases Guillaumit’s colorful and zany universe, inspired by the many ceramic tiles found inside the former thermal baths building. Equipped with a smartphone, the public can download the app to play and interact with the creatures in the fresco.
The artist: Guillaumit
Guillaumit is a comic book and children’s book author, animated film creator, and multidisciplinary artist whose work is influenced by historical themes (folklore from around the world) and constant questioning of new technological tools.
