As part of the France-Brazil Year, Guillaumit completed an artistic residency in November 2025 in Manaus and São Paulo (Brazil).
His creation, MosaicAmazonia, will then be presented for two years in the Alliance Française network in Brazil.
This augmented reality creation is based on natural elements collected in the Manaus region: river water, painting tools made in the forest, botanical observations, etc. Leaves, stems and roots are transformed into a paper mosaic combining drawing, craftsmanship and digital animation.
MosaicAmazonia offers a visual exploration of the Amazon, at the crossroads of nature, gesture and technology.

Guillaumit est auteur de bandes-dessinées et de livres pour enfants, créateur de films d’animation et artiste pluridisciplinaire, dont l’univers est empreint à la fois de thématiques historiques (folklores du monde entier) avec des questionnements constants sur les nouveaux outils technologiques.
