Sélection “Sonovisions” au festival Zone Libre 2024 – Bastia
Dans le cadre du festival des arts sonores Zone Libre qui se tiendra, à Bastia, du 29 janvier au 4 février 2024, Gabriel Soucheyre est invité par Philippe Franck (directeur de Transcultures et des Pépinières européennes de Création, commissaire artistique du parcours sonore de Zone Libre) à proposer une sélection d’œuvres vidéo soutenues par VIDEOFORMES avec une dimension sonore importante. Lancé en 2019 par l’association éponyme (sous la direction artistique de Tommy Lawson), le festival Zone Libre présente, dans une dizaine de lieux partenaires, des œuvres de musique électronique, électroacoustique, improvisée, de la poésie sonore, des performances hybrides, des installations sonores, numériques et des temps de débat et de rencontre avec le public.
Parmi les artistes internationaux invités de cette riche sixième édition, citons Hans-Joachim Roedelius, Maja Jantar, Thomas Chaplin, Philippe Boisnard, Stéphane Kozik, Novi_Sad, Jan Jelinek, Christophe Bailleau ou encore Romain Poirier.
La sélection « Sonovisions » de VIDEOFORMES sera diffusée en boucle dans la galerie de l’Arsenal. Y seront présentées :

Sonovisions” selection at the Zone Libre 2024 festival – Bastia
As part of the Zone Libre sound arts festival to be held in Bastia from 29 January to 4 February 2024, Gabriel Soucheyre has been invited by Philippe Franck (director of Transcultures and Pépinières européennes de Création, artistic curator of the Zone Libre sound trail) to propose a selection of video works supported by VIDEOFORMES with a significant sound dimension. Launched in 2019 by the eponymous association (under the artistic direction of Tommy Lawson), the Zone Libre festival presents, in a dozen partner venues, works of electronic, electroacoustic and improvised music, sound poetry, hybrid performances, sound and digital installations and time for debate and meetings with the public. The international artists invited to take part in this rich sixth edition include Hans-Joachim Roedelius, Maja Jantar, Thomas Chaplin, Philippe Boisnard, Stéphane Kozik, Novi_Sad, Jan Jelinek, Christophe Bailleau and Romain Poirier.
The VIDEOFORMES ‘Sonovisions’ selection will be presented on a loop in the Arsenal gallery. It will include :
