Chapelle de l’Oratoire
La chapelle date du XVIlle siècle et a donné son nom à la rue de l’Oratoire à Clermont-Ferrand. Après diverses utilisations, elle devient en 1992, un lieu de diffusion et d’expérimentation voué à l’art vidéo et aux arts numériques. Depuis 2008, VIDEOFORMES soutient la création contemporaine émergente (locale, nationale et internationale) en faisant de la Chapelle un lieu de résidences et d’expositions dans le domaine des arts hybrides et numériques (vidéo, arts plastiques, musique, images, spectacle vivant, etc.). Chaque sortie de résidence donne lieu à un VIDEOBAR, moment de présentation des œuvres en cours et de rencontre conviviale avec le public.
Galerie / Vidéobars
Depuis 2008, VIDEOFORMES développe une mission de défrichage de nouveaux talents en faisant de la Galerie de l’Art du Temps (Chapelle de l’Oratoire) un lieu d’expérimentation, un laboratoire trans-disciplinaire de création pour de courtes performances exploratoires.
Les VIDEOBARS offrent aux artistes un espace d’expérimentation et de rencontre avec le public dans un cadre convivial propice aux échanges. Les performances présentées sont inédites et souvent ponctuelles. Elles peuvent allier l’art vidéo et d’autres disciplines artistiques.
